Soffit System

CL1-S soffit system is suitable for face fixed soffit panels and discrete fixed cassettes.

The CL1-S Soffit System by Clad-Line offers versatile solutions for face fixed soffit panels and discrete fixed cassettes, providing effective building overhang venting and protection for the interior. While soffits typically lack insulation, Clad-Line offers flat isolation pads to mitigate thermal bridging and prevent bimetallic corrosion, enhancing overall thermal performance.

This system utilises T rails attached to ‘dropper’ L rails at panel joints. For intermediate and panel end support, Clad-Line’s L rails are recommended.

With extensive stock and in-house fabrication capability, Clad-Line ensures precise customisation to meet individual project specifications. Additionally, the CL1-S system allows for the creation of sloping soffits by cutting the rails to the desired angle.

Technical

The CL1-S Dropper Rail connects to the CL1-S Bracket. Often soffits are not insulated but if thermal bridging is an issue flat plastic isolators can be supplied. Alternatively the CL1-S Bracket can be supplied with an A2 fire rated isolator.

The CL1-S Dropper Rail is supplied to suit drops up to 1m in depth. Due to the nature of the system, the dropper rail can be easily adapted on site. CLAD-LINE’s range of T and L Rails can be used as the main cladding support rail.
